Internationally acclaimed Mexican guitarist, he has won first prizes in competitions such as Francisco Tárrega and Julián Arcas in Spain, and René Bartoli in France. He studied at UNAM and the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, receiving the Gabino Barreda University Merit Medal and the National Youth Award in 2002.
He has collaborated with major orchestras such as OFUNAM, the National Symphony Orchestra, and the Evgeny Svetlanov Symphony Orchestra. He has worked with conductors like Leo Brouwer, JoAnn Falletta, and Gustavo Rivero Weber, and has performed at venues such as the Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, the National Theatre in Belgrade, and the Beethovenfest in Bonn. Recently, he produced the album Sound Dreams and participated in the world premiere recording of El árbol de la vida for NAXOS.
