Zoran Dukic is recognized as one of the most important classical guitarists of his generation. His performances, whether solo or accompanied by an orchestra, leave an unforgettable impression on both audiences and critics. He has performed as a soloist in the most prestigious concert halls in the world, such as Palau de la Música in Barcelona, Carnegie Hall in New York, Concert Gebouw in Amsterdam, and Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow.

He graduated from the Music Academy in Zagreb, Croatia, with Darko Petrinjak, and completed his studies with Hubert Käppel at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne, Germany. Between 1990 and 1997, he won more competitions than any other guitarist in the world. He is the only performer to have won two editions of the Andrés Segovia International Guitar Competition, in Granada and Palma de Mallorca. With his astonishing mastery of different musical periods and languages, he has also won competitions dedicated to F. Sor, M. Ponce, M. de Falla, and F. Tárrega, among others.

He won the first prize at the most important competition in Spain, the “Fundación Guerrero” Guitar Competition held in Madrid and sponsored by the Royal Family, where he was also awarded the Special Prize for Best Performance of Spanish Music. He was the first foreigner to achieve this. He currently teaches at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in the Netherlands and is the invited artist at the Royal Welsh College in Cardiff, UK. Zoran Dukic is an active chamber music performer and a founding member of the European Guitar Quartet and the duo with Aniello Desiderio. He has recorded for record labels in Germany, Spain, Belgium, Croatia, Netherlands, Canada, and Brazil.

He has been a D’Addario Artist since 2011.
